Description: Enviro Blend ® ; B66R Rock Drill Oil ® is a biodegradable oil compounded to meet the rugged operational requirements of rock drills, a heavy-duty oil containing adhesive/cohesive features. Enviro Blend ® B66R harmonizes with the environment while delivering superior performance.

Composition: Enviro Blend ® B66R is a fully formulated high performance lubricant utilizing a unique vegetable oil blended with a combination of carefully selected synthetic base fluids. Added to this blend are non-toxic, ashless antiwear additives, adhesive/cohesive additives, demulsifiers and pour point depressants. It is also fully inhibited against rust, corrosion and oxidation. Enviro Blend B66R is classified as readily biodegradable.

Performance Characteristics: Rust and corrosion inhibitors in Enviro Blend ® B66R fight chemical attack on drill parts and effectively prevent rust from forming when equipment is not being used. NT36 Enviro Blend, Offshore Jacking Leg Grease

Description: Enviro Blend NT36 is a non-toxic high performance offshore jacking leg grease engineered for superior performance with the jacking units of offshore drilling rigs. This product is suitable for use in environmentally sensitive areas.

Composition: Enviro Blend NT36 is completely non-hazardous, compounded synthetic and non-toxic environmentally safe components of extremely high purity. It not only passes the “Shrimp Test”, it will not produce a sheen on the water. Completely hydrophobic components, compounded with adhesive-cohesive materials, give Enviro Blend NT36 excellent adherence to wet surfaces and make it completely waterproof so it will not wash off or throw off.

Enviro Blend NT36 has been formulated and tested to outperform competitive products in the market. It contains highly effective extreme-pressure additives, which provide superior protection to extremely heavily loaded gearing. Enviro Blend NT36 has complete shear stability, and in addition to being waterproof, will not pound out or break down under severe loading and sliding pressures. Highly effective rust preventative additives also provide a barrier of protection to prevent rusting of metal surfaces.

Performance Characteristics: Enviro Blend NT36 provides safe, superior performance in an extremely wide temperature range. It is extremely workable at low temperatures, yet the hottest equatorial climates will not soften it to any great degree to cause bleeding or oil separation to occur. It can be applied easily to wet or even submerged surfaces. Excellent lubrication is provided to heavily loaded, sliding surfaces, preventing excessive heat buildup which might be damaging to surface metallurgy. Enviro Blend NT36 will not melt or run off at any temperature.

Environmentally, Enviro Blend NT36 has passed both protocols of the US Environmental Protection Agency for determining environmentally safe drilling fluids in the offshore oil and gas industry. In the Acute Toxicity to Mysidopsis Bahia ("Shrimp Test"), the LC-50 value necessary to pass the minimum EPA requirement is 30,000 ppm of sample in the water for 96 hours. Enviro Blend NT36 achieved a LC-50 value of greater than 1,000,000 ppm because not one shrimp was dead in a maximum concentration of Enviro Blend NT36. In the Static Sheen Test, Enviro Blend NT36 caused no sheen, iridescence, gloss or increased reflectance on the surface of the test seawater, demonstrating that Enviro Blend NT36 contains no free oil, making it environmentally friendly to natural waters.

Description: 216 Food Grade Hydraulic Oils are custom quality lubricants recommended for high pressure hydraulic systems and general lubrication of machinery in the food processing, packaging and transportation industries. 626P Enviro-Cool, Water Corrosion Inhibitor.

Description: Cooling systems can be problematic due to the use of solder in their construction. These soldered areas can turn into points highly susceptible to corrosion unless additional coolant protection is provided by use of or correctly formulated blend of chemicals.

Composition: Many radiator problems have caused confusion when equipment operators have been told that the filter being used contained too much DCA and not enough MBT. DCA means "dry chemical additive", which means any additive contained in the filter itself. These filters or any DCA do not contain much if any, MBT, or sodium mercaptobenzothiazole which is necessary in a concentration in order to prevent early corrosion in newer coolant systems. 626P Enviro-Cool contains MBT in enough concentration to provide effective protection. Engine manufacturers have recognized the problem to a degree and now protect the solder in new systems temporarily, but problems will occur later if the owner does not service the cooling system properly.

Maintenance people should realize that the chemicals furnished in coolant filters are flushed from the filter and depleted in a very short time. The filter will continue to remove contaminants, but additional chemical protection is needed for adequate protection.

Performance Characteristics:

While some anti-freezes contain corrosion inhibitors, they may only be effective against a certain metal, for example, steel. For this reason, anti-freeze alone is not sufficient for protecting against corrosion of all the dissimilar metals found in the cooling system. This is also true of the summer anti-rust compounds found in the cooling system. The use of tin, lead, copper, copper alloys, brass, and aluminum make 626P Enviro-Cool a necessity for suitable protection of the cooling system.

Environmental Considerations: 626P Enviro-Cool is environmentally friendly because it greatly prolongs coolant life and reduces flushes as well as the content of lead and other hazardous metals in the coolant due to corrosion. Furthermore, engines operate more efficiently when cooling systems are properly maintained, keeping exhaust emissions closer to engine design specifications. 626P Enviro-Cool is toxic to fish the first 24 hours of dilution; however, Aquatic Toxicity Tests show that 626P Enviro-Cool begins to detoxify immediately after dilution.

Uses: 626P Enviro-Cool should be used in the original coolant of any new engine before corrosion has a chance to begin. To correct the problem once it has started, clean and flush the entire cooling system with a good chemical cleaner to cut corroded solder.

Install a new filter and use 1 liter of 626P Enviro-Cool for each 32 liters of coolant capacity. For regular maintenance, 1 liter should be added for each 160 liters of capacity every 250 hours. If the system has a filter it should be changed at this time.

626P Enviro-Cool used as recommended will protect the radiator and when the cooling system has been properly maintained, it will prevent hard-water scale, control foaming, reduce oxygen content, control electrolysis and cavitation erosion, neutralize acids, prevent corrosion and lubricate the water pump. Enviro-Cool should be added directly into the circulating system of the cooling water.

  • --Corrosion inhibitor for anti-freeze, coolants, and water-based cutting oils.
  • --Corrosion inhibitor in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • --Metal deactivator for various alloys.
  • --Rust inhibitor for cooling systems.

Note: To maintain full strength, do not store in direct sunlight in glass containers. This product is not an anti-freeze. Keep from freezing or mix with anti-freeze. If frozen, allow to thaw out. Chemical action will not be harmed.

Description: Enviro Blend B660 answers the challenge to develop a lubricant that harmonizes with the environment while delivering superior performance. A lubricant that is non-toxic and biodegrades rapidly in the environment should a spill or leakage occur, which does not rapidly degrade in hydraulic service or in other industrial applications, while providing superior lubrication and antiwear protection, was the criteria for the formulation of Enviro Blend B660.

Composition: Enviro Blend B660 is a fully formulated high performance lubricant utilizing a unique vegetable oil blended with a combination of carefully selected synthetic base fluids. Added to this blend are non-toxic, ashless antiwear additives, demulsifiers and pour point depressants. It is also fully inhibited against rust, corrosion and oxidation. Enviro Blend B660 is classified as readily biodegradable.

Performance Characteristics: Enviro Blend B660 is environmentally acceptable by many standards. Besides being non-toxic and biodegradable, it provides other environmental benefits such as reduced leakage due to its extremely high viscosity index, resource conservation, and waste reduction due to its longer drain intervals. With reduced disposal and recycling activities, less energy consumption is achieved.

Performance-wise, Enviro Blend B660 exceeds major hydraulic pump manufacturers' requirements. It has excellent low temperature properties and oxidation stability unlike other ordinary vegetable based hydraulic oils. Its water separating properties rank with the best of conventional hydraulic oils while its load carrying, anti-wear, and viscosity/temperature behavior is far superior.

Enviro Blend B660 is an extended drain oil. Based on laboratory oxidation tests, it is capable of going 2 to 3 times as long as other biodegradable hydraulic oils. Actual performance will vary. Below is a summary of severity criteria in which to classify the performance of biodegradable fluids:

  • Hydraulic fluids based on standard vegetable oils can be used in less demanding temperature ranges, especially in "loss" lubricant situations. (Operating Range 20 ° F to 190 ° F)
  • Hydraulic fluids based on higher grade vegetable oils can be used at higher operating temperatures where low temperature performance may be sacrificed and where more frequent service intervals are used. (Operating Range 20 ° F to 280 ° F)
  • Enviro Blend B660 based on synthetic esters with highest grade vegetable oil should be used when highest performance is needed and longer service intervals are desired. (Operating Range -30 ° F to over 300 ° F)*

Uses: Enviro Blend B660 may be used in a wide variety of hydraulic systems operating at both high and low pressures. It is compatible with conventional mineral oil based hydraulic oils and with all seal materials found in hydraulic systems. It is especially suited for use in environmentally sensitive areas where leaks and spills can cause environmental damage. Enviro Blend B660 is also recommended for use wherever an industrial anti-wear bearing, gear, chain, or circulating lubricant is required.

Description: Enviro Blend B680 is a complete environmental gear lubricant formulated for biodegradability, non-toxicity, and superior industrial gear lubricant performance.

Composition: B680 Enviro Blend is a parasynthetic industrial gear lubricant formulated with biodegradable and non-toxic components. B680 is a carefully balanced blend of vegetable and synthetic ester base stocks, viscosity modifiers, tackifiers, and most importantly, vegetable-derived and completely non-toxic performance additives. These additives include:

Performance Characteristics: Enviro Blend B680 provides outstanding industrial gear oil performance in an environmentally responsible formulation. B680 provides excellent extreme pressure and load carrying performance. It also meets and exceeds industrial gear oil requirements AGMA 250.04 and US Steel 224 specifications. It has very high oxidation stability for long term use which also allows it to pass the L-60 automotive gear test. B680 prevents both rust and corrosion in salt water and is completely non-corrosive to yellow metals, such as brass, copper, or bronze bushings. B680 has an exceptionally high wear prevention and load carrying capability with outstanding film strength and lubricity. Viscosity index is extremely high, allowing much less viscosity change due to temperature variations.

Uses: B680 Enviro Blend is responsibly recommended for any industrial gear oil application. It is completely compatible with conventional gear oils and no special cleanouts for changeover to B680 are required. However, any other components mixed with B680 will naturally have a proportional affect on the percentage of biodegradability of the mixture, and any significant contamination with conventional gear oils could possibly affect the claim of non-toxicity for the mixture.

Applications: B680 Enviro Blend is especially recommended for applications where potential leakage or accidental release of lubricant into soil or waters might occur, or for any application where a non-toxic lubricant is desired for either human or animal safety.
