HAZARDOUS MATERIAL Effective: March 30,2008 Certain commodities are classified as Hazardous Material or HAZ-MAT for Ground or Air transport. An item identified as HAZ-MAT requires special packaging, handling and documentation to be transported domestically or internationally. HAZARDOUS MATERIAL PACKAGING FEE’S One box, normally 24” x 24” x 10” can hold four each 1-gallon cans of material identified as HAZ-MAT. Our HAZ-Mat packaging fee is $40.00 per box for Ground shipment and $55.00 per box for Air transport. International Transport has an additional $85.00 Export Documentation preparation Fee. One box, normally 15” x 15” x 15” can hold One each of a 5-Gallon Pail of material identified as HAZ-MAT. Our HAZ-Mat packaging fee is $40.00 per box for Ground shipment and $55.00 per box for Air transport. Paints, Thinners and Adhesives may Not be combined into one box. If an order is for 1-Gallon of Paint and 1-Gallon of Thinner; there would be Two HAZ-MAT packaging fee’s applied as these items must ship in separate boxes. Examples: (1). An order for 8 each 1-Gallon cans of Paint: Two HAZ-MAT packaging fee’s will be applied i.e. $40.00 x 2 = $80.00 (2). An order of Three each 1-Gallon Cans of Thinner: One HAZ-MAT packaging fee applied 1 x $40.00 = $40.00 (3). An order of Six each 1-Gallon cans of Adhesive: Two HAZ-MAT packaging fee’s will be applied i.e. $40.00 x 2 = $80.00 Hazardous Material packaging fee’s will be added to your invoice in addition to the shipping charges shown at your check out from our shopping cart. Example: At check out your order is for 1-gallon of paint and 1-gallon of thinner, the DHL, UPS or FEDEX shipping charges are $50.00, an additional $80.00 HAZ-MAT packaging fee will be added to your order (not listed on check out form) and charged to your credit card/Invoice.
